- are NOT NATIVE speakers of English (for ESL teaching positions).
- are not native Spanish speakers (for Spanish teaching positions--Spanish teachers must, however, be fluent in English and able to write progress reports in English).
- do NOT have authentic and verifiable experience teaching Spanish or ESL.
- only have a public school ESL or Spanish teaching certificate in lieu of actual experience.
- have NOT taught ESL abroad (if applying for ESL position).
